Admissions Process

Bay Life Academy (BLA) welcomes students of any race, color, gender, nationality, and ethnic origin, and does not discriminate on this basis in admissions, or in any area of school life and program.  BLA admissions materials and the Admissions Team work diligently with each student applicant to create the best academic plan for meeting individual student needs.

All applicants must:

  • Satisfactory performance on WRAT Test (Wide Range Achievement Test)
  • Complete the Student Application Form
  • Submit the most current of copy of IEP (Individualized Education Plan) as well as any other prior IEPs.  If the student is coming from another private school and has no IEP, all documents pertaining to the students individual needs must be submitted.
  • Submit all copies of psychological tests/evaluations and any other applicable
  • Be at least Six years of age by September 1st
  • medical, academic or social relevance.
  • Submit all copies of social history reports.
  • Submit all Educational Records.  This includes but is not limited to most recent report card and copies of standardized tests scores.
  • Submit any medical statements or diagnosis related to a health-related disability such as ADHD.
  • Complete Interview.  This is typically done at time of WRAT test.

Note: BLA does not typically enroll new students into the eighth grade.  An exception may occur for families who have multiple students enrolling and the parents wish the children to be enrolled in the same school.

**All students who are accepted to Bay Life Academy are accepted on a nine week probationary period.  Students accepted to Bay Life Academy are not automatically accepted the following year.
